About the driver
Built for the long road.
Nolan Minnich is a developing sports-car racer with more than six years of competitive experience and a focused path toward a full Spec Miata campaign.
After beginning in competitive dirt oval kart racing in 2019, Nolan progressed into Jr. Sprint Racing and now competes with Advanced Autosports. His development is professionally coached by Nathan Nicholson.
Off the track, Nolan is just as driven as he is behind the wheel. He competes at the state level in cross country and track & field while maintaining Honor Roll status at Cochranton Area Junior-Senior High School in Cochranton, Pennsylvania. The discipline, determination, and work ethic he develops through athletics and academics carry over into every lap he races.
The name “BUM” comes from a childhood nickname given to Nolan by his younger brother when he was eight years old. Years later, that nickname has become the foundation of BUM Motorsports—a family-built racing program fueled by passion, perseverance, and a love for motorsports.
Supported by experienced racers. Nolan is fortunate to be surrounded by people who believe in his potential, including NASCAR team owner and driver Spencer Boyd, who has supported Nolan’s racing journey and provided encouragement as he advances through the sport.
